S.T.R.E.A.M.
A downloadable game
S.T.R.E.A.M. (Streamlined Traits for Realistic Enactment of Action Media) is an unofficial supplement for FIST rpg.
All it does is rearrange and tweak the TRAITS found in FIST Classic and Ultra editions, putting them in d66 tables for those that like to generate characters randomly, OSR-style.
The way the tables are organized guarantee that most of the times, characters will be mostly "realistic" (that is, more grounded in reality than not), but with the occasional funny trait or weird ability coming up when you are rolling a new operative.
The default trait table has sub-tables for traits relevant to SCI-FI, PSYCHIC powers and over-the-top SUPERNATURAL abilities. This way, Referees can custom-tailor the experience by allowing all of them, or a subset; for example: If you want a campaign more akin to the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movies or the A-TEAM show, you would only allow DEFAULT and ODD TRAITS. If you wanted Delta Green, X-Files or SCP style stories, you can enable the SCI-FI and/or the PSYCHIC traits. For full gonzo-MGS2-anything-can-happen universes, use all of the tables (the way FIST was meant to be played).
Provided in the Downloads is a 28-page PDF in A5 format, ready to print in Zine style or use in an electronic device (fully linked ToC present).
This product is currently in playtest. Updated versions might be uploaded in the future.
S.T.R.E.A.M. is an independent production by @tatooka and is not affiliated with CLAYMORE roleplaying games, the original creators of FIST RPG.

Thank you for doing this! This is precisely what I wanted when reading over the traits in the base game, and lovingly laid out, both for aesthetics and ease-of-use. Bless your heart.
so glad you liked it ! <3
It'll probably become obsolete once F.I.S.T. ULTRA edition comes out; I'm still considering whether or not to make an updated version of S.T.R.E.A.M for it (we'll have to see what changes in the new edition first).
But yeah, let's enjoy it in the meantime! cheers :)
